Trama

Nel 2075, per l’umanità i viaggi nello spazio non sono più un sogno, ma una realtà di tutti i giorni. I progressi tecnologici e scientifici hanno portato alla colonizzazione della Luna e alla formazione di grandi corporazioni spaziali. Ai Tanabe, una ragazza dal carattere solare e ottimista, interessata a tutto ciò che riguarda il cosmo, si unisce alla Technora Corporation come membro della Sezione Detriti, un reparto dedicato alla rimozione dei pericolosi “rifiuti spaziali” vaganti tra le orbite terrestri e lunari. Tuttavia scoprirà presto che il suo lavoro è sottovalutato, e che la Sezione Detriti, scarsamente equipaggiata, e mal finanziata, è vista come lo zimbello della Technora. Ai non si lascia scoraggiare e prosegue sulla sua strada, facendo conoscenza con i suoi strambi colleghi di lavoro, tra i quali, il maldestro ma bonario direttore Philippe Myers, la misteriosa e riservata Edelgard Rivera, ma soprattutto Hachirota Hoshino, una testa calda che ambisce a possedere una navicella spaziale che porti il suo nome.

Braccobaldo Show

È un cane antropomorfo dal manto blu e parla lentamente. Spesso canticchia la canzone O mia cara Clementina. Della razza Bloodhound, caratterizzato da accento campagnolo e dalla voce nasale e meno silenziosa dello stesso personaggio. In Italia diventò popolare negli anni 60 grazie al Braccobaldo Show in cui era il personaggio che introduceva tutti gli altri cartoni animati fra i quali l'Orso Yoghi, Pixie, Dixie e Mr. Jinks e Ugo Lupo prima degli altri. È anche protagonista del film d'animazione Il buono, il cattivo e Braccobaldo. La sua prima voce italiana è stata quella di Renzo Palmer che doppiava anche Svicolone.
